The Buendia Jumbo guitars are most often described as sounding huge. It is a favorite body size of many artists who love a bigger, bassier sound, enveloping tone. This is a function of its greater air cavity. The jumbo has a unique place in musical history, bringing the gap in all different kind of music, from western to blues to folk to rock to country. It’s sturdy and yet so very musical, a guitar tonally unique, big, and absolutely beautiful.
Slope-shouldered and narrow-waisted, Jumbo’s feature a lot of body behind the strings, which gives these guitars a nice boost on the bottom end and a big, round tone. A Jumbo can project as strongly as a dreadnought and still have the warmth and balance of a concert acoustic.
Jumbo is an incredibly versatile guitar. It can be the ideal companion to the singer songwriter, as well as a solo concert instrument.
