Red Cedar soundboard, East Indian rosewood back & sides, Spanish Cedar neck, Ebony fingerboard, Shaller Hauser nickel tuners with ebony buttons, French Polished finish – 2011
This classical guitar is able to deliver a warm spectrum of tones. The dynamic range and the color palette are wide and very easy to control, with a clear voice that is extraordinarily powerful with lots of sparkle and balanced with excellent separation, as you would expect in a quality Cedar guitar.
This is a traditional classical guitar based on the Torres/Hauser style, but with dovetail neck joint for serviceability. The Cedar is tight with beautiful medullar rays. The East Indian rosewood is sharp looking, nicely figured, quite straight with a dark purple hue. Some of its features include a sculpted gothic style head, classical rosette inlay with matching soundboard purfling, and a twelve hole bridge that permits a greater angle than traditional bridges, maximizing the transmission of the string’s energy.
